We believe that there is one God who is eternally existent in three separate persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We acknowledge God as the one true creator who alone is worthy of our worship.
JESUS // THE SON OF GOD
We believe that Jesus lived a sinless life, ministered to hurting people, and that he died on a cross for our sins. We affirm that three days after his death, Jesus was raised back to life.
HOLY SPIRIT // GOD'S TRANSFORMING PRESENCE
We believe that the Holy Spirit is God's personal, transforming, empowering presence. We affirm that every believer is baptized and filled with the Spirit at salvation. However, we also believe that we must continually be being filled by the Spirit (Ephesians 5:18), and that the evidence of his filling is power to share the truth about Jesus.
THE HOLY SCRIPTURES // GOD'S HOLY WORD
We affirm that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, are God's inspired Word. We believe that the Scriptures are also useful for teaching, training, and correction in order to equip the believer for a life that pleases God.
THE CHURCH // THE PEOPLE OF GOD
We believe that the Church consists of those who've trusted in Jesus and have been saved by grace through faith alone. We affirm that all believers are disciples who are in the process of being transformed into Jesus' image and character. Statement on Marriage and Sexuality
SALVATION // BECOMING A DISCIPLE
We believe that all people are lost in their sins and need to be saved by God's epic grace. We affirm that grace is a free gift that cannot be earned through religious activity or trying to be good enough for God.
